Custom Knives. I strive to make every knife the absolute best that I can
build. All of the operations that I use in the building of Dan Farr Knives
are performed by me, in my knife making shop. I have personally designed, used and tested to destruction every model that I offer. All Dan Farr Custom Knives are designed for the outdoorsman with use and performance in mind. The range of models I produce includes forged construction and stock removal method. These are segmented within the following design lines: hunters, fighters, bowies, and camp/utility knives.
I make knives because I have a passion for knives.
My most prized award was the custom knife industry's coveted Blade Show "Best New Maker Award". Also, in preparing for my upcoming 2003 American Bladesmith Society Journeyman Smith rating test, I won the Cutting Contest Award for best blade cutting performance competing against other Journeyman's Smith prospects in Nassau, New York.
